ROK League - Late Summer 22
Welcome to the ROK Golf Late Summer '22 League!
Dates / Times
- Thursday Nights
- 5 Week League starting 8/18, 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, 9/15
- Early Flight: 6:00 – 8:00
- Late Flight: 8:00 – 10:00
Field
- 10 teams (20 players)
Scoring
- All NET Scoring (no gross)
- 18 hole combined team stableford quota
- Example: Player A 26 quota, Player B 14 quota. Results are Player A scored 30
and Player B scored 19, the total team score is 9. (4 + 5 = 9)
- GHIN Index required to participate
- Quota Adjustment by 50% first 3 rounds, average of 3 best after.
- Example: Initial Quota is 24, players scores 30, next Quota is 24 + 6/2 = 27.
- Stableford scoring (no points for over bogey, so pick up after bogey)
- 1pt – Bogey
- 2pt – Par
- 3pt – Birdie
- 6pt – Eagle / Hole in One
- 10pt – Double Eagle
Format
- Best 4 team scores count to final team prize (allows for one missed week)
- Team must post at least 4 scores to qualify for finals (negative scores are possible)
- Same 2 man teams for the whole time (no substitutes)
- Each team must finish their round by the end of the session. Any holes that are not completed by 8pm or 10pm will receive a score of zero so play fast!
- Must use Trackman account to play (so scores are all logged by Trackman)
League Fee Includes
- 5 League Rounds per team (2 hours each)
- League management
- 1 hour of practice per player week (use it or lose it)
- Other goodies
Miscellaneous / Rules
- Each team gets 1 non-league night pass
- If a team can’t play Thursday they can play the round BEFORE THURSDAY
- Scoring is closed after Thursday night
- Mulligans granted by staff ONLY any unauthorized mulligan receives a 0 for that hole (we can see if there was a mulligan)
Cost / Fees
- Non-Advantage Tournament Fee = $300 per player
- Advantage Tournament Fee = $100 per player (must be active advantage for entire league duration)
- Mandatory Prize Pool (Must pay via cash or Venmo before 8/18) = $250 per player
Prizes**
- Total Cash Prize Pool** = $5000 ($250 x 20)
- Weekly Prize (1st, 2nd, 3rd)** = $300, $200, $100
- Grand Prize (1st, 2nd, 3rd)** = $1250, $750, $500
** Cash prizes assume full league of 20 players. If the league is not full prizes will be reduced proportionately.
ROK is working to secure league sponsors to provide drinks, food, prizes, etc. through donation or sponsor fee.
